With a Child and Youth Care Degree or Diploma you can become
a professional who supports and advocates for children, youth and families.

With the Child and Youth Care program at Vancouver Island University, you'll learn to work with children, youth and families in a therapeutic setting.

VIU graduates work in schools, substance use, mental health and early intervention programs. They find roles in family support and child protection. And they work in recreational and outdoor programs.
